New Lens...

Got my new lens yesterday.. a sigma 10-20... first propper wideangle lens.. cant wait to get out there and use it...


I will leave you with these few thoughts....

Why are buildings called buildings when
there finished? Shouldn't they be called
builts?

Do you find it unnerving that what doctors
do is called PRACTICE!!!

How is it one careless match can start a
forest fire, but it takes a whole box to
start a campfire?

Why are they called non-stick pans? Is
there a law saying your not allowed to put
sticks in them?

Nikon D80

Havent written a journal in ages, not been taking too many photos.... ordered a new camera yesterday.. a Nikon D80... hopefully it will give me the inspiration to get of me arse and get out there...

Its been almost a year and a half since my last journal... sick of looking at it, so hears a new one... cheers!!!

At home with the flu again... Its this bloody Irish weather.
last week it was kind of mild, this evening its chucking down snow... went 10 pin bowling on the weekend for my daughters birthday... she was thirteen...... ( shit..thirteen). anyway it was a great success, as last time i was bowling i tore my hamstring and couldnt walk for four days... ( I really need to get more exercise) . got a few days of work now, should really use it to advance my novel a bit... my DA addiction has been getting in the way of late... that and the fact that im a lazy ba*#$rd..

we've got two gigs coming up at the start of march... something to look forward to. Had a right session last night, didn't get out of bed until half two... (it's great not having to work on mondays)
ordered a new slide scanner so i will be able to post some of my old slides soon...
